Legal & Risk
Terms of use, risk disclosure and privacy for the ArchLiquid protocol and website. Please read before interacting with the contracts.
Acceptance of terms
By accessing this website or interacting with the ArchLiquid smart contracts, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or the protocol. These terms apply to the interface and to your on-chain interactions with the contracts described here.
Non-custodial software
ArchLiquid is non-custodial smart-contract software deployed to a public blockchain. It is not a bank, broker, exchange, custodian or financial institution. No ArchLiquid entity holds your funds, executes trades on your behalf, or can move assets outside the flows defined by the contracts. You transact directly with the contracts from your own wallet, and you are solely responsible for your keys, your transactions and their outcomes.
No financial or investment advice
Nothing on this website or in the protocol is financial, investment, legal, tax or accounting advice, a solicitation, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset. Tokens launched through the protocol, and any tokenized-stock distributions they make, are created by third parties and are not offered, endorsed or guaranteed by ArchLiquid. Do your own research and consult qualified professionals before making decisions.
Risk disclosure
Interacting with the protocol carries material risk, including the total loss of funds. Risks include but are not limited to:
- !Smart-contract risk · Contracts may contain bugs or be exploited despite testing and review; on-chain transactions are irreversible.
- !Market risk · Token and tokenized-stock prices are volatile and can fall to zero; liquidity may be thin or disappear.
- !Oracle risk · Price feeds may be delayed, unavailable, or incorrect, which can affect lending, liquidations and distributions.
- !Liquidation risk · Borrowed positions falling below their health threshold can be liquidated at a penalty.
- !Regulatory risk · Laws affecting tokens, tokenized equities and DeFi vary by jurisdiction and may change.
- !Network risk · The underlying chain, sequencer, bridges and RPC providers are outside our control and may fail or censor.
You should only commit funds you can afford to lose entirely, and you accept these risks when you use the protocol.
No warranty; limitation of liability
The website and the protocol are provided “as is” and “as available”without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, no ArchLiquid contributor, developer or affiliate is liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website or the contracts.
Eligibility and compliance
You represent that you are of legal age and legally permitted to use the protocol in your jurisdiction, and that you are not a person barred from doing so under any applicable sanctions or laws. You are solely responsible for complying with all laws that apply to you, including securities, derivatives and tax obligations arising from your activity.
Intellectual property and trademarks
The ArchLiquid name, wordmark and brand assets are the property of the project. Open-source components are used under their respective licenses. ArchLiquid is an independent protocol and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Robinhood Markets, Inc. or its affiliates. “Robinhood”, “Robinhood Chain” and related names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners and are referenced only to describe the network the protocol runs on.
Privacy
Browsing the public website does not require an account. If you use the rewards program, the interface creates a wallet-based profile after you sign a message and stores the wallet address, referral attribution, points and task evidence. If you link community accounts, it also stores your X user ID and handle and your Discord user ID and handle so that identity uniqueness and verified community tasks can be enforced. OAuth access tokens are used during the linking callback and are not retained by the application.
The interface uses necessary signed session, anti-forgery and referral cookies. A theme preference may also be stored locally in your browser. Security controls retain keyed request counters and protocol records may retain abuse flags or other evidence needed to protect the integrity of the rewards ledger. Questions or requests concerning off-chain profile data can be sent to hello@archliquid.com, subject to legal, security and audit-retention requirements.
When you connect a wallet or submit a transaction, your public address and activity are recorded on a public blockchain and are outside our control. Requests to X, Discord, public RPC endpoints, explorers and wallet providers are handled by those third parties under their own policies.
Third-party services
The interface may link to or rely on third-party services, including RPC providers, block explorers, wallet software, price oracles and the underlying chain. We do not control and are not responsible for those services, their availability, or their content.
Changes and contact
These terms may be updated from time to time; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. Questions can be sent to hello@archliquid.com.
